Prenatal/Postnatal massage services are not currently offered.
Hygiene Policy and Guidelines
For the comfort and consideration of both clients and therapist, please try to arrive freshly bathed and ready for your massage session. To help maintain a clean and comfortable environment, please avoid strong perfumes, colognes, heavy body oils, and heavily scented lotions before your appointment. Thank you for helping us maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every client and the therapist.
If you are Feeling Sick
If you are feeling sick, beginning to develop symptoms of illness, or believe you may be contagious, please do not attend your appointment. Please contact Moon Valley Massage as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. We appreciate your consideration in helping protect the health and comfort of our clients and therapist. Illness-related cancellations will be handled in accordance with our cancellation policy. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please reschedule your appointment when you are feeling well enough to comfortably receive massage therapy and are not longer likely to expose others to a contagious illness.
Cancellations or Rescheduling With 24 or More Hours’ Notice
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a full refund of the 50% booking deposit.
Cancellations With Less Than 24 hours’ Notice
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of the 50% booking deposit. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the therapist’s discretion. To cancel or reschedule, please contact Moon Valley Massage to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you arrive late, your massage session may need to be shortened to avoid delaying the next client. The full service price will still apply and be charged to the card on file, regardless of the shortened treatment time.
Late Arrival Cutoff & Forfeited Appointments
If you arrive 30 minutes or more after your scheduled start time for a 60-minute appointment, or 45 minutes or more after your scheduled start time for a 90-minute appointment, your appointment will be considered forfeited. The 50% booking deposit will be non-refundable, and the appointment will be treated as a no-show under the payment policy. If you anticipate arriving late, please contact Moon Valley Massage as soon as possible. Advance notice does not guarantee that the full appointment can be accommodated.
No-Shows
If you do not arrive to your scheduled appointment and have not canceled or rescheduled in accordance with our cancellation policy, your appointment will be considered a no-show. The 50% booking deposit will be forfeited, and the remaining 50% of teh scheduled service price will be charged to the card on file. The total amount charged for a no-show will not exceed the full scheduled service price. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the therapist’s discretion.
Payment & Card-on-File Policy
A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve an appointment online. A 50% booking deposit is charged at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance is due at the time of your massage appointment. By booking an appointment, you authorize Moon Valley Massage to charge your card for the booking deposit and any remaining balance or cancellation charges described in this policy. Your payment information is processed securely through the payment processor. Moon Valley Massage does not store your full card number or security code.
