Deep Tissue Massage
This technique goes deeper into the muscle tissue to reduce spasms and scar tissue that often result from chronic injury or overuse. I use a combination of Swedish and deep tissue massage to enhance circulation and bring relief to the affected areas.

Treatment/Injury Massage
A massage beneficial in treating sprains, tendinitis, and other soft tissue injuries. This modality can decrease excess neurological activity, thereby lessening spasms and restoring muscle tone and length in the injured area. The reduction of muscle spasms will also increase blood flow and nutrients to the area,
further promoting healing.
Adhesions and excess scarring after injury can limit movement and functioning. This can create muscle tightness that may cause further pain and dysfunction. Massage therapy is very effective in managing the development of scar tissue, maximizing mobility and flexibility in the injured area.

Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy massage involves a massage treatment using
essential oils. Aromatherapy uses essential oils from plants to heal, alleviate pain and regulate mood. Essential oils are a volatile, highly concentrated plant extracts, derived from leaves, bark, roots, seeds resins and flowers. In aromatherapy massage, essential oils are mixed with a carrier oil such as rapeseed oil. I use up to five essential oils in a mixture, and choose the oils based on what you need. A relaxing aromatherapy massage, for instance, might have lavender or bergamot, while a massage for sore muscles might include peppermint and eucalyptus.

Reflexology is a touch modality based on the principle that there are reflex points throughout the feet which correspond to every system, organ and gland in the body. When specific thumb, finger and hand techniques are applied, nerve pathways are stimulated and cleared of congestion. The benefits of Reflexology may include stress reduction, deep relaxation, pain reduction or elimination, increased circulation, natural detoxification, balancing of the body's systems, and an increased sense of well-being.
